Commercial Grade Garage Door Threshold Barrier – available in lengths from 2 metres to 9 metres

This 25mm Commercial Grade Garage Door Threshold Barrier kit has been designed to form a watertight seal between the commercial shutter or garage door and the floor. The threshold will also prevent leaves, dust and debris from being blown under shutter/garage door, thus ensuring a clean and dry environment.

The product is made from a highly durable aluminium extrusion designed to withstand heavy traffic.

The threshold kit itself is supplied in aluminium sections, for kit sizes longer than 2.5m, which are joined together using the bottom insert seals and the top insert screw cover. The bottom seal inserts and top fixing cover insert are supplied in a continuous length creating a seamless seal. These seals are compressed when the fixing screws are inserted, providing a watertight seal.

The gentle ramp profile will allow it to be easily driven over with forklift trucks, or to pull pallet trucks over the top of the threshold. Its heavy duty construction means it is ideal for use in commercial premises with heavy vehicles such as light aircraft or articulated lorries.

The kit itself is made up of seamless, inter-locking sections of aluminium (in lengths of 1.55m, 2.0m and 2.50m) which are joined together with a flat bar insert to maintain rigidity. The thermoplastic bottom insert seals are supplied in a continuous length, giving a complete seal along the full overall length of the threshold. These seals are compressed when the fixing screws are inserted, providing a watertight seal.

Ideal for use with roller shutter/commercial doors.

Preparation

For best results the surface should be smooth and flat and devoid of bumps or troughs.  Remedial action should be undertaken to rectify uneven surfaces prior to fitting the Threshold Seal.
