Want To Do It All Yourself?

If you are looking to install storage in your garage and want to do it yourself then you’ve come to the right place. On this page we’ll show you the options available and more information on how you can install them in your home.

All of our storage accessories connect to your garage wall via our FlexiPanel or FlexiTrack. Both options offer a good solution to keep your floor clear and free of clutter. You can learn more about these two options below.

FlexiPanel

Our white FlexiPanel covers the entire length of the wall from ceiling to floor and its glossy, reflective surface increases light. FlexiPanel gives you maximum flexibility as all of our storage accessories including Cabinets, Shelves and Bike Racks can be moved around as and when you want to, simply by slotting into the panel.

Benefits

  • Storage accessories including shelves, hooks and bike racks can be fitted easily into the grooves located on the FlexiPanel
  • Easily move items around the garage
  • Excludes drafts and eliminates nooks and crannies for bugs to hide in
  • The glossy, reflective surface increases light
  • FlexiPanel and all accessories come with a 10 year warranty
  • Allows you to store items on the wall rather than the floor
  • Helps declutter and streamline your garage
Dimensions

Each piece of FlexiPanel measures 2000mm (W), 300mm (H), 16mm (D) and comes in packs of 1, 2, 6 or 12 pieces.

How Do You Install It?

FlexiPanel is not difficult to install as long as you have the tools (listed below)(listed above) and a little bit of patience.

In order to have something for the panel to screw into, you should first fix 2x2cm timber battens at regular intervals along the wall. Then we suggest marking out your panel strips in a brick pattern, as shown below, on a piece of paper.

Then starting at the bottom of the wall, fix your first piece of panel, making sure it is level. We recommend using a spirit level to ensure this is correct rather than just lining it up with the floor as garage floors normally are a little sloped to help drain any water. Then work on from there. For full details, click here to view the assembly sheet.

Tools Required:

  • Electric Screwdriver or drill with Phillips Driver Bit
  • Stud Finder (or small brad nails)
  • Spirit Level
  • Pencil
  • Tape Measure
  • Safety Glasses

FlexiTrack

FlexiTrack are small singular strips of our FlexiPanel that can be fixed to your garage wall to accommodate many of our storage accessories including baskets and shelves. Unlike FlexiPanel, these strips don’t cover the entire wall but rather a small section. So they are a great solution if you only have a small space to fill.

Benefits

  • Ideal if you have limited space or only want to panel a small area
  • Many of our storage accessories slot into FlexiTrack and can be moved around as and when you wish
  • FlexiTrack can hold larger items such as Shelves, Baskets and Bike Racks
  • Creates a streamlined look and gives flexible storage
  • Can be used in your garage, shed, outbuilding or utility room
Dimensions

Each strip measures 2460mm in length and 150mm in height and is available in 1, 2 or 8 lengths. It can hold up to 33kg of weight and are extremely useful if you are limited on space. You can opt to install or a small area of your garage as they can be cut to fit the space you have.

How Do You Install It?

FlexiPanel is not difficult to install as long as you have the tools (listed below)(listed above) and a little bit of patience.

FlexiTrack is fairly easy to install with the right tools. Simply decide where you are going to locate it, cut it to fit the space if needed and then install using wall plugs and screws.

We recommend only installing FlexiPanel on bare studs or on brick/block walls

Tools Required:

  • Electric screwdriver or drill with Phillips driver bit
  • Stud finder (or small brad nails)
  • Spirit Level
  • Pencil
  • If you intend cutting the FlexiTrack into other lengths, we recommend using a mitre saw, table saw or circular saw
  • Safety Glasses
