We finally have a fantastic time lapse video to share! This video focuses on the installation of floor tiles but the whole garage has been completed by our fitters Seve and Peter along with the floor.
As you will see, ramp edges are the starting point at the front of the garage. Not only do they allow for a smooth entry into the garage, they also provide a starting point for the whole floor. Once started, each floor tile is laid using an interlocking system next to its neighbour. Tiles closest to the walls are cut with a Jig Saw or similar to get a sharp edge that fits the size of the space. We recommend leaving a 5mm gap between tile and wall so it has space to expand and contract during periods of heat or cold.
Would you like a floor like this?
We offer our flooring as part of our Design & Install process or you can opt to have it fitted as a standalone service. Or a more cost effective option is to buy our floor tiles from our online store and install them yourself. We have another little video which gives further information on this.
Of course, if you have any questions on floor tiles or indeed any other of our products, we would be happy to answer them. Send us an email or give us a call on 01491 579975.
