If you are a cyclist, chances are you’ve had trouble with bike storage. It’s the age old problem of where you can store them to take up the least amount of space, keep them safe and in good order as well as have them easily accessible.
The first point is where to store them. Of course storing your bike inside is much more preferable to leaving it outside in order to avoid deterioation and/or theft. That’s where a garage or basement comes into its own. But if you don’t have any of these then a secure outside shed also works well, just check your insurance will cover your bikes out here and perhaps lock them to a another large object so they can’t be easily carried away.
Of course deciding on where you can keep them is just half the answer, you also need to look at what storage options are available. The first option is store them on your wall with a rack. Garageflex have a number of racks available so you can store them vertically or horizontally depending on your preference or space. Or there is always your ceiling, a very under-used space in our opinion, which can take hoists or hangers to store them above your head.
