Garageflex install first seamless resin floor

18th Dec 2008

Garageflex carried out their first installation of a seamless resin floor in a new house in Wentworth, Surrey recently. A lot of research has gone into finding the right product because there were certain criteria that Garageflex needed to be satisfied: the floor had to be of the highest quality; it had to be long lasting and hard wearing; easy to clean and maintain; a decorative finish and capable of fast installation.

The whole garage was fitted in 7 hours and was capable of being walked or driven on 1 hour after completion. And this was a triple garage of around 58 square meters. It has given a stunning look to the garage and the owners are delighted with the end product.

Garageflex offer their own polypropelene tiled floor as standard and their new resin floor will be sold as a prmium covering to give the very best in floor finishes for those looking for that little bit extra.

Garageflex feature on BBCs Working Lunch

05th Feb 2009

The Garageflex team spent a day filming on site at a customers garage and then in the showroom and office for an appearance on BBC 2’s Working Lunch. The approach came through Business Link who remembered the business from meetings held early in 2008 and thought it would be a terrific business to feature on a programme where Working Lunch were looking for a business that was “beating the recession”

By good fortune we had recently installed a system including walls, storage units, tiled garage floor and a ceiling system for a customer in Bray who knew the value of PR as he has a very successful business, who manage online dating agencies.

The programme gave a good exposure and brought a flurry of activity almost before it had gone off air and the team have a busy time ahead as a result.

Garageflex complete first Compton Garage installation

06th Feb 2009

Garageflex have installed their garage organisation and storage system in many different garages over the last three years but never before a Compton Garage. These are prefabricated garages made from a metal frame and concrete blocks.

Our customer had recently bought a new Corvette and wanted an interior with a difference. After carrying out research online he called in Garageflex who gave him a proposal and subsequently fitted the gaarge. It needed extra timber battens to take the FlexiPanel but the end result transformed the garage. Included in the job was a tiled floor, panels to all the walls, storage cupboards, garage workbench and storage units.

We can only quote our customer: ” I do not normally endorse commercial products and as a matter of philosophy do not refer to goods as excellent. In these circumstances the product and the manner of its delivery exceeded my expectations, and excellent is the only suitable description.”
